*WARNING WARNING*

on election night 2005, the Lib Dem Candidate in Newcastle Central told anybody who was silly enough to listen that he had won and even got Shirley Williams to announce it on TV!!!!

So don't believe anything from the LibDem camp they have a habit of over estimating!

Evening- no, morning all.It has been a long time.Notwithstanding the polls and the bloggs does any Labour activist think that they will hold all 3 seats in Newcastle ?I do not think this and have put a very large sum of money where my mouth is.What do you think Mr Hemp?

P.S. Your undoubtedly accurate and fair comment about 2005 leaves me in no doubt -at last -of your identity.Do you think that in East  Newcastle Labour children have made a big error in precipitating Wendy  Taylor into the limelight?Newcastle Brown looked old ,ill and stressed onT.V. tonight. He needs the assistance of the good doctor.

Well with less then 24hours to go it seems that Newcastle North is the best place to be a close match between Labour and the Lib Dems.....
All the partys out and about today.......
well the word on the street is that Labour will win this seat.....
Good Luck to all

Anyone else think Catherine McKinnell bears a striking resemblance to actress Amanda Mealing?

Newcastle's Tory Chairman quits the party. Rumour has it that this is a result of government's handling of cuts. He is continuing to fight on local issues in the outer west and is being tipped to stand for election as an independent in 2011.

The voters of Westerhope may realise after the result in May that only the Lib Dems
can beat Labour in Newcastle.  Whatever people campaiging for the Tories or Independents
(or UKIP) think they are doing, what they are actually doing is helping Labour.
